Hey - -
So I was hoping to be positive and encouraging and supportive and instead I got to go all "mom" on him.
But school is so the easy part - there's are rules and quality points and obivous indicators of academic success - not like the reality of what I have now - - - . sigh
And the Millersville MEnnonite board said - Don't try to make your son or daughter into you. One you is enough. sigh again.
But is it so wrong to want Rob to realize what he can do if he organizes himself and WORKS a little? Or if Kate would SING like she really can sing?
They would each achieve far more than I ever did - - - - - - I who didn't have the someone encouraging helping - just expecting. these things make me sad.

So tired and the wrost is yet to come.
When you've done all you can, you just need to stand.
Stand on God's promises. Stand on God's word. Stand with the knowledge that all prayers are heard. Know that God loves you - holds you in his hand - when you've done all that can - just stand.
Is there a song like that out there somewhere?
Saying and showing and doing - why haven't those morals, guidelines transferred?

It's about time. . . .
well goodness - it has been what? oh 3 and half months and I haven't posted - I guess it's time!
First - I'm still madly in love with Allen Scott Hein.
Now that that's taken care of - - I've been having quite a string of hunches/premonitions feelings. Wondering what that all means - - - today it was silly stuff. About what I was going to by and who I was going to see at the grocery store. Still - what does this mean? I'e also had several knowings of a more serious nature. hmmmm
It's a GORGEOUS day. Grass cut - but two wonderful teenagers - laundry hung outside (that would be me) new plants planted and grass seed sowqn (that would be the beloved) and now I must work on finishing the transcription and arranging for the musical.
And then to recruit people to participate - - - gotta sing!! gotta dance!!! Gotta make supper!!! (wow that really doesn't flow. . . . . . )
He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Just because I'm in the office and al and Kate are reading over my shoulder and because it's a good time to do the unexpected - - - - I'll update my site.
1) I love Al. Ok - that's not news.
2) I love Rob. Well, that's not news either, but one can never say it enough.
3) I love Kate and want her to be as healthy as possible (HINT< HINT< HINT) Who wouldn't want Kate to be healthy??? HMMMM, not me, that's for sure. I want her to be healthy, yup, yup, yuop
4) I tolerate and am often amused by the hairy wonder - Lily - who is the cause for much cleaning this afternoon as we prep for general holiday joy and merriment.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! (Kate is making fun of my tyuping - I don't think she has much room to talk, but hey. . . . . . )

I am woman. I'm delightfully married. My beloved is Al - who was innocently sitting in the tenor row of the first church choir I was hired to direct. I'm a mom to Rob and Kate. I'm a "retired" school teacher. I'm currently on staff at Neffsville Mennonite Church. I'm still not sure where/how God will lead - but I know that I've not reached "it" yet. I love to sing; I love to work with kids and youth. I love hearig and watching the birds. I ache for other people's suffering. I've succeeded in everything I've ever seriously attempted EXCEPT loosing weight. sigh. I am very blessed.
